Case experts I need your advise. I am currently trying to restore my parents farm to top shape after 15 years. I need to clear old fence rows of small trees 6" to "8 in diameter so I can run new wire. There are two dozers in the local area with low hours and good UC available but I have not been able to locate a web site with specs for a comparison. One of the sellers told me the engine size was the same in both dozers and the biggest difference was length. What main advantages does the 550E have over the 450C? I will be more than happy to consider you expert opinion on the best dozer for occasional light clearing and leveling on sloping to hilly land. As you can tell I've never owned one. Thanks

both are good and will do the job the 550 is newer and a little more power but will cost more. the 450 is just as good and cost less and parts can be had in the used form if you need any
