The problem maybe that you have quoted the wrong engine model number, check the plate again and you will find it says F2L812.

I suggest that YOU go to a deutz dealer and ascertain whether or not parts are available. Deutz is a super engine, with a lot of parts interchangability across the line of their products.

Many years ago the bobcat dealer would not get me parts for the kohler engine in my bobcat; trying to bully me into a new acquisition. The Kohler dealer was happy to take my money and sell me parts. After I called the Bobcat factory in Gwinner, SD and asked why this happened; it never, never happened again.

Look in your yellow pages Richard, under Diesel Engines and you should find a local Dutz engine dealer. They are a fairly common engine.
