on my 843 bobcat with isuzu diesel the temp and the fuel gauge both quit at same time. fuel gauge is stuck at 3/4 temp gauge is below cold.I have checked fuses and checked wire from temp sending unit to gauge, both good. How can I tell if the sending unit is bad or if the gauge is bad? don't want to replace both if not needed. thanks Pat

Hey Pat, easiest way to check electric gauges is to ground them out to see if the gauge itsself is working, with the key switch in the "on" position remove the wire going to the sending unit and momentarily ground it to something and look to see if the gauge moves, if so its a sending unit problem, if not its a gauge or wiring problem, seems strange to me that two gauges quit working at the same time, that sounds more like an electrical problem.
