A local dealer has a 310 Bobcat for sale, is a good machine or just a little machine. It looks in pretty good shape but is the one cyl motor strong enuff. He's will take 2500.00 for it, is that a fair price? Has anyone owned or used this one like this. I thought it would be good getting around tree's and in some tight spots. Any thought's out there!!!!

Thank's Jim K

Stay away from a 751 Bobcat it is the same size as 753 it was during a time when Bobcat and Kubota were in a feud and they put Peugeot engines in them bad, very bad.

Hey Jim, in my opinion (and you know what they say about those LOL) $2500 would be the very high end for a 310, cant remember when they quit building them but it had to be back in the 70's I dont have alot of info in my head about them but do have access to where I can find out if you have any particular questions.

I have a Mustang 310 , it had a Kohler 14 hp in it . Ran the daylights out of it . Rod broke after 2 nd rebuild and 10 yrs of hard use . putting in 20 hp twin onan now , had to have pumps rebuilt once , but normal maint type stuff . it's small enough to get into tight spaces , don't tear up the yard much , does lots but due to size just takes little longer than bigger machine .
