brush rakes for dozers?

In the tips and trick section of www.ibdozing.com comer there is very good brush rake that some one made for their machine that cost only a couple of hundred dollars.

what part of the country are you in? There is a company in Edmonton, Alberta that builds brush rakes, and also one in California, can't remember who builds it, but there is one called a "Beales Flecko", [sp]. I have personaly used these rakes a lot in the past, and they are very good units, on D6's, 8's, HD16, HD11, and a 550JD. On the Cat units, we run into a problem of not enough lift for stacking material, for proper burning. one way of changing this is to construct a new mounting point below the beam for the center pin of the dozer, this will give the rake about a foot of extra lift.
