brush hogged grandma's place today, it's 20 acer between two subdivisions, basically sitting on a undeveloped gold mine,we have never really farmed it, had a few steers long ago, but mostly for her horses
but first after greasing the mower i had to weld the crazy wheel mount back on.that was a trip to town to beg/borrow/steal a welder
then after 5 hours i was back to town getting a pair of 33166's because the tractor went to surging and loosing power, and we were back in business,
hour later the ring that had the bolt through it disappeared and the crazy wheel flopped off behind ,me, which meant another trip to town, to get a set collar and drill a hole through it. it was getting late and i was dirty, so i decided to put the last 5er of fuel in it, i got the fuel in it, but i also now have the red "safety" valve and spring in the fuel tank, thanks to CARB. I've got to fish it out somehow, but later,
here's a couple pics
this is MY first tractor, 584 ,koyker loader, we used to use grandpa's jd420, but now that I've got this it's eventually going to be restored
yes i used a chain i found laying in a field, the cat2 top link i got with the tractor was too big, and the cat1 from the jd was too small for my top link pin.
