Just finished overhauling the engine D361, with turbo. Ground crank, all bearings plastigauge .0015 to .0018, new cam, and cam bearings. Have good oil pressure when cold, but when it warms up it idles at 0 or just above. I put on a gauge with numbers to tell for sure. IF I rev it up good the pressure is close to 50 psi, then idle it down, it goes to zero, then may come up to .5 to 1 psi. The turbo is getting oil and so is the valve train. Is my oil pump the problem. Someone said relief valve, still have to remove the pump to work on that also. When I overhauled the engine I took the pump apart and cleaned it out real good. I checked the specs for tolerance around the gears, and they where within what the book said. Where should I start, do I need a rebuilt/new pump? Thanks.
