A couple of years ago, we had a family reunion in Fargo, ND. While there, I went to a large farm store and found that they would sell me 2-4D and generic roundup in 2.5 gallon containers no questions asked. At home, near Spokane, I would need to have a license to buy 2-4D in any quantity larger than about a gallon, and at much lower active ingredient concentrations. The small quantities really run up the cost of the chemicals.
So I ended up hauling home 15 gallons of 2-4D and 10 gallons of the concentrated generic roundup. I only use the herbicides on my own property and really resent having to go around the law to obtain the herbicides at a decent price. I am still using the chemicals I brought home from that reunion, and they still seem to work just fine.
Depending on what chemicals you want to get, you might check out buying in North Dakota. Good luck!
