You need to do more digging. I bought one at a consignment sale, and ended up downloading a manual from Dixon's website.
The cone system was on the earlier ones, later ones have a hydrostatic motor on each side. You need to figure out which you have (should be easy, by looking- hydraulic hoses=hydrostatic). Then dig more for the proper manual.
The also have a pretty good dealer network- pay a visit to your nearest dealer.
Sure have been happy with mine- 22 HP Kohler, everything works great. Best 500 bucks I ever spent.
