From someone who has dealt with dozers for 36 yrs, if you really want a dozer to use, stay away from anything that says "Case" on the side- they're miserable to operate, too flimsy to last, and parts? If you just want it to play, if it's in real good shape, and reeeel cheeeep, maybe- but if it breaks, it ain't worth the price to fix it. I helped a buddy haul off a 1000 about 17 years ago for scrap, had a final out, sat for 5 yrs before he got sick of looking at it I'd much rather have an old cable Cat or even an old TD-6 than a Case
