i know this is off topic but our little dog passed away friday had to have him put to sleep.we went out thursday afternoon to hang a field gate along with our other 5 dogs just unloaded the gate off the trailor about 5 minuets went by we were getting things ready when we heard him whimpering softly and when we turned around he was draggng both back legs.dont know if one of the other dogs ran into hm or what.we took him to the local vet where they thought maybe he had a chance to be fixed so we took him 11/2 hours away to med vet in columbus ohio where they determined his injury was not able to be fixed his spinal cord was injured and he had nerve damage.he was a long haired chihuhu named lucky we got him two years ago at a dog rescue center and right away he bonded very strongly toward me only.he was the only dog i ever seen that would actually smile at you he would show his little teeth at you when we came home at night.his favorite position was on my left shoulder with his two front leggs hanging over my shoulder and his little head next to my ear.so this was the position i held him in when they put him to sleep.he was one of those i in a million special little dogs this was one of the hardest things i ever had to do in my life when it comes to pets.thanks for reading this i hope i didnt bore anyone with this long post thanks for reading RICK
