I am using a bush hog to mow 25 acres. I have about 5 acres left to mow that drops into a drainage ditch at the foot of the hill. Do I mow down to the drainage ditch and then back the tractor back up the hill or what? If you back up the hill do you take the pto out of gear and raise the bush hog or do you leave the pto in gear and mow back up the hill? The tractor I am using is 4wd with rops, a loader on the front and and live pto. We have had 2 farmers killed this summer on tractors in Greene County TN, don't want to be the third. DG
