Getting it to last...

When my JD B finally arrives it will be going through a complete restoration. The problem I will have is storage, she will be stored outside although covered I am afraid that the time I spent painting and putting in all the effort will be lost. I know JD yellow has a tendency to fade (already apparent to some wheels on my JD plow painted 2 summers ago) and on one of the wheels rust is alreadys tarting to form! What should I do when I strip down this racor for a complete restore that it has a paint job that will protect the tractor from the elements of decay as well as not fade and look like a factory finish. Your tricks? Karl
