SQ72 BRUSH HOG NEED ADVICE ON REMOVING SHAFT

I am needin to replace the seal on the bottom of the gear box. My only problem is removing drive shaft. I finnally removed the stump jumper by cutting of the blades which was a costly manouver. I am searching for any one who might have some suggestions on an eaisier way to do this or if you have a repair manual you would like to sell please contact me via e-mail. Thankx and good day John
