Sounds to me like you want to re-write history and word-meanings. What exactly does "uhmm no" mean? I DID put my comment in historical context. The orignal use of the word "galvanize" referred to the disovery by Luigi Galvani - and refers to a certain affect electricy has on certain items. It simply meant, at first, "electric effect." His first experiments were with dead animals - making them twitch by shocking them. It then became more commonly used for the process of metalplating with zinc by the use of electricity. Thus the term "galvanize." Later on, and now, the term is used more loosely to any sort of zinc-coating process. So, I ask again - "uhmm no" to what? The historical record?
