Is it just our area or are other Deere Dealers also forgetting about service. I've done business with a dealer for 30 years but when I needed a part for a wagon I was given a song and dance for 10 weeks about "It's coming" Finally i learned it was never ordered. I went in settled my account and told them don't bother I won't be back. I could get the part from a dealer 90 miles away where we go to buy haying equipment, Since the local deere dealer is only interested in selling to the big row crop boys. Well luckly we have another dealer 10 miles away and I have gone to buying my parts there. Until Saturday, We had this big storm coming and I wanted to go pick up a new 3 pt blade to aid in removal. Called and was told they had 3 on the lot but couldn't sell any until the salesman got in estimated 15 minutes. I waited an hour and called back. "haven't seen him, he'll call" well it's monday and I never heard from anyone. do you thimk i will ever buy an other Deere piece of equipment. We are a cattle operation that doesn't fit into the rowcrop farming. Of the 5 new pieces of forage equipment in the past year not one salesman made a follow-up call to give us a price on new equipment. Vermeer, Mac Don, Penta and H&S here I come. My next tractor won't be having yellow wheels

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
