True Story with names changed to protect the innocent and guilty: Mr. Z had been raised in New Mexico but had went off east to pursue another career and make his riches before retirement. After retirement and returning to New Mexico he bought a large ranch there. His neighbors that had been ranchers their whole lives doubted he would make it being 80 miles from a city now. He proved that point one day when having a flat tire on his pickup truck that was pulling a horse trailer along a rough dusty ranch road in the hot New Mexico desert sun. No lug wrench in the truck so he takes off walking back to the ranch for a lug wrench. His nearest neighbor of 25 miles away Mr. W just happened to be driving by and found Mr. Z walking down the road in the hot sun and told him he had a lug wrench and some cool drinking water and they would go change his flat tire. After Mr. W got the tire changed on the trailer for Mr. Z he asked him why he didn't unhook the horse trailer and drive back to the ranch in the truck or unload the horse and ride it back to the ranch?? Mr. W said Mr. Z you are going to die out here soon in the hot dry desert!
