There may be nothing wrong with the quality of Chinese kits. It is the importers who are the problem. They buy the cheapest stuff they can buy and sell it at a high mark up, but still cheaper than a high quality kit. They do not specify, and check for, the quality standard you require. Chinese goods may be inferior, but that is because they are cheap. They are cheap because they are not checked etc etc. I know of one local firm that has all sorts of electronic bits made in China. Did have problems early on but are now better than the British components manufacturer they used previously. Blame the importers and distributors and point of sale, but remember if the quality was guaranteed they would be more expensive and those cheap importers would make less profit from you possibly. So, ask the suppliers about the origin. If they won"t reply, don"t buy. Simple as that. Regards, RAB
