This is not really very far off the topic. I use this trailer to haul my tractors and golf cart to work and shows and also my mower and small backhoe when I move them. Has any one seen, or used a unit called a "Gorillia Lift" tail gate counterbalance spring/cable set up? I want to install one on my tail gate which is4'x6' and weighs around 250#. I am presently using a boat trailer winch, pullley and cable set up, it works good, but I have visions of it scattering my fingers, teeth and nose since you have to lean over to work it and your face and hands aren't very far out of the line of fire if it slips a notch, or breaks a cable under load. This loos like a safer approach. They have a website for reference. wwwgorillia-lift.com They look good in their ads and on the website. Gene
