Before you get all inot the engine make sure the guage ain't slow. Get a Auto Zone cheapy and test it against yours. They ain't rugged or durable, but they're pretty accurate. Still a problem--check for a clogged oil intake screen. If pressure will come to specs-even if slow-then it prolly ain't your pump.
