Yes there is a lift latch on the left side on the rockshaft bracket. A curved lever about 21/2" long. Pull control lever to 'select' (the red sector against the spring) and pull up the lever to disengage. Pushing the lever down at any time will cause the linkage to lock the next time it is raised. The lift latches have been known to sieze in and ours used to latch on its own when the tractor was new but was sorted under warranty.
