11 year old son was driving mini 4 wheeler when it just quit on him. Checked gas, switch, all the obvious stuff, when cranking it over it didnt sound right almost like the spark plug was loose.checked plug it was ok.when i went to check to see if the choke somehow got closed i saw the carb was no longer connected to the intake manifold, both mounting bolts were completely gone.couldnt figure out how it kept running that long with no bolts holding it on.only thing i can think of is the carb gasket must have been stuck to the mounting surfaces and after both bolts vibrated out it eventually broke free.either that or the suction kept it on until he let up on the gas.ever hear of anything like happening.put two new bolts and lockwashers in and away he went. bill m.
