Dont know if this what you mean by multi fuel but my furnace is electric heat coil or geo thermo. Use the geo thermo all the time if the weather is -10 and wind blowing I might have to use the heat coil. It costs about $350 a year to heat and cool my 1800 sg. ft. house. Cost about $ 4000 more than a regular LP furnace to install. It will pay back in about 4 years. And that was when LP was $1.00. No wood or corn to worry about. Only way to go in my view.
