I own a 505 Super I, bought it in 1998, it is a 1995 model, and love it. I have baled about 1,000 bales a year with it, (just finished yesterday)and no complaints. Only thing I have had to do was put new drive chains on this year. Other than that, she goes. I never have to wonder if it will start a bale, and in 7,000 bales of hay, I know it has not plugged more than 3 times. My windrows are big. Just fit under a 970 Case, and full pickup width. I keep mine well maintained, has never sat out one night since I owned it. Maintnance and care are big factors in any machines performance. I paid $9500 for mine in 1998 and I have the electronic monitor and haysaver wheels. I think it would make you an excellent baler.
