Sounds pretty real to me. Meanwhile they're always spouting off about balance of payments and the consumer goods we buy from overseas and all. Course right now I have no choice. Haven't seen much of anything lately that wasn't made in Japan or China......so Japan blocks our beef exports to the tune of 1.3 (I think) billion in 2003....and China is scooping up our technology so they can make more of their own things and export to us at reduced prices over domestically manufactured items. Course in the short term, you can't beat the prices. Farm commodities are (used to be) one of the few ways we have (had) of balancing things out. Cynical, naw, practical, yeah! Mark
