Are kids differant now

I went to Ft Benning with my wife when she was deployed. I laided in the shade of a large Georga pine on a hill next to the 250 Towers. I watch kids run the track, I watched fear and excitment as they were strapped to the harness of the chute. I talked to them at the beer stand near by. Shoot the only differance between now and when I was one of them in 1966, is they sure look younger, as I supposed I looked to the WWII paratroopers.
