OFF, You say "but did find worn rings as well as a few that appeared stuck." Tell us more about these worn rings and if there are a few of them stuck, exacly how many are there?! Stuck rings will definitely cause blow-by and oil usage, so you may yet only need to free them off and reassemble! Keep a note of exactly where each ring goes and it"s position (gap) on the piston, just in case nothing is worn near max wear tolerance. Check side clearance of rings - that can seriously contribute to oil usage, but that is easily remedied. Good luck with your repair and I, for one, am looking forward to hearing exactly what you find and need to remedy. Regards, RAB
