Interesting loading weights on Boom Stress Points

The new design was looked at by a Design Engineer and he calculated the Load Stress on the Boom with 5,000 lbs on the tip. The upper support attachment Tension Pull Point at hitch was 21,000 lbs and and the Boom Compression Load was 23,500 lbs pushing with that load. That is well within the 5/8 bolts shear points and should be no problem on the 3/4 inch upper Link and 7/8 inch lower link mounts. Of course no way could you lift 5,000 lbs 6 ft away from the Back of the Link Arms so it meets it's 5 to 1 Safety Factor of a working load of 1,000 lbs, Tractor being on a Level Working surface.
