The first step to solve any hydraulic problem is to make sure you have the unit filled to the correct level with the right fluid and that the fluid is clean... no water contamination. Also replace the filter(s). Beyond that you will need the operator's and service manuals to diagnose. It could be a simple adjustment, a blown relief valve, or something far more serious, like a bad pump.
