I probably should post this on the impliment page, but enough good people read here. I want some advice on 12 Volt Fertilizer spreaders, the kind that mount on AVTs or Gators, etc. I will mount this on the back of my home made tractor - it is not really a tractor but for lack of better description that is what I will call it. I do not need a big hopper, it only needs to hold one bag at a time, but I would prefer it to be light weight. I can mount it anywhere from 2 to 4 feet off the ground, but I would like it to broadcast at least 20 - 25 feet. Any advice on brands, problems or benifits with the spinner, agitator, motor, rate adjustment, plugging up etc. would be appreciated. Has anybody made their own with sucess. Thanks in advance, Grant from the West Coast Rock
