use meter, volt scale, or light bulb, one lead ground other on glow plug, with glow plug on should read battery voltage. if not check for wire, switch, or relay, somtimes a pre resistor problem, with switch off -then remove wires from glow plug and ohm out since it is just a heater coil would be low ohms 1 to 2 ohms, if if you have no meter use test light, (hook light bulb to battery --cut wire like ya were gonna put a switch in wire use these wire as test leads for yer homeade test lamp) just as switch has continuity yer glow plug should, but check continuity indvidualy. i have also pulled an injector to check its flow good spray,hooked up out of engine and watched glow plugs to see how long it took to get full heat as they are different some 3seconds some 8 sec & mine 30seconds (these are general test not specific to model or type of tractor)
