Sounds like a 49 Ferguson TE-20 to me.Should have forward tilting hood, all gray color. To those unfamiliar, the Harry Ferguson/Henry Ford partnership is confusing,in effect Fergusons tractor co developed the three point hitch on Fergies, and agreed to Ford using the Ferguson hitch system on its Ford tractors,so in effect a Ford Ferguson was a Ford tractor using the Ferguson hitch system.ID numbers on Fords were stamped on block,Fergies usually had a dashboard plate. If I recall right Fergies prefixed TE(tractor-england)were for English market and had British electrics.Models for export were TO(tractor overseas)and had US electrics.Click on H Ferguson link in gray bar across top of these forums.
