I have a 1932 Farmall F-30. When I got the tractor it was not running and been setting for many years. I restored the tractor and rebuilt the engine. At first it ran ok but sounded like it had one heck of a cam. It would occasionaly spit and pop back thru the carb. and exhaust. It always acted as if it were running out of gas. I found I had a gas tank problem, so I reparied it. It kept doing the same. Then I replaced the carb with a fresh rebuilt one. Still the same thing. I then re-adjusted all the valves, still happening. I replaced the magneto with a new one. Problem unsolved. I checked the cam and it appears to be alright, and the maniflod is brand new as is the intake gasket. It runs smooth at first then it starts to pop and contiunaly gets worse till it eventualy cuts off. If I choke it,it picks back up again then it starts all over again. Anybody have any ideas? I've done it all I know and am fresh out, and have no idea on what to do or try next.
