I have two perfectly good tractors, an old MH Pacer my Blessed dead father gave me 25 years ago that runs like a top on a thimble full of gas and a MF 50 with a loader that I have rebuilt from the ground up and it never quits (and I've put so much money into it now I'd have to get the price of a new John Deere if I wanted to sell it intelligently.) So why do I keep trying to convince myself that I absolutely HAVE to have a FOUR WHEEL DRIVE tractor because of the few times the rear wheels spin on my 50? Why do I keep looking at the Photo Sales site? Is this a disease? Do I need to go to some kind of self-help tractor confessional every Monday night? Can you help me out? (And while you're at it does anybody know where I can find a good affordable 4WD tractor around 40 hp that isn't one of these so-called "compact" toys that they would trade for a couple of good Masseys without me getting screwed in the process?)
