I have a 1941 Farmall A with a wide front end. Last year, it started leaking transmission oil out the right side of the transmission (where the axle tube meets the transmission housing) because it was July I filled the transmission with grease to get by untill I could tear into it. I was wondering if there are any pitfalls that I sould be aware of. In addition, I have half flirted with the idea of installing a rear section with a 3 point hitch (if that was possible?) or converting the P.T.O. to live operation while I have everything apart? Any guidence would be appreciated.
