New construction home well underway. Builder screwed up royally on planned walk out attic to garage so I am looking at some alternatives. (communication failure to truss shop). Builder gave me this weekend to do it via sweat equity. Planning on using the main house above ceiling area to add some additional storage. I've calculated it out to be approx. 1260 sq. ft. w/ avg hieght of 5'. Figure it will take ~44 sheets plywood (10% waste) over 2x6's place atop 2x6 rafter stringers. Access will be via standard scuttle ladder x 3. What words of wisdom can y'all offer? Thanks in advance.
