Hello all, As you can see, I have an 8N. However, I am getting a tractor for the fee of removing it. It has a loader, and looks like maybe a Ford 4000 or something. I am trying to identify it, I don't have any photos yet. Someone has painted the whole thing white, so I don't know what the colors are. It has a Ford loader, so I am thinking that it may be a Ford. It is a diesel, and it is medium sized. I have looked at a lot of photos today, but I haven't seen anything that looks too much like it. It has a "D" and some logo on the front at the top of the radiator. The "D" is in a silver medallion with a lion or something beside it. There is no insignia on the fenders or anything. I know that this is not a lot to go on, but I thought that I would try. I could not find any kind of plate or anything to identify it. It has been sitting for several years from the looks of it. The exhaust is on the left side of the steering column, and goes straight up, with a cap on the top. It was parked because of a problem with the fuel pump. I think that it is a 60's or 70's model. The front cowl has the head lights in it. They are at the top, above the radiator. They do not stick out on the sides. The sheetmetal is semi-rounded, and squared off at the front like a Massey Ferguson. The fuel tank is at the front, behind the radiator. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
