I just stated what the article said, the guy bought the tractor from the same dealer who did maintenance on it so there is no reason to doubt it is legit, they have other tractors of course, but the old guy always prefered this one from new so it is the one he always ran, and averaging 40 hours a week on an electric tach is not out of line considering they run 900 cows and 12,000 acres of crop and hay land. There are several 40 series john deeres around the area that have 12,000 hours and have not been opened up, but they also are on light duty jobs at this point in the game. Like i said befor just thought it was an interesting story, it was more about the old guy than the tractor itself so they didn't go into a lot of detail.
