Friday the reporter who is doin some digging into the spill and halfased cleanup of the old gas station half a mile upstream from my place called and told me NYS DEC had informed her the cleanup had been done the way it was cause NOBODY downstream or in the aquifer area was well dependant. I called the Assemblyman's office to ask if they could send me the forms to get all my taxes back since I'm nobody. They were a little less than happy to hear how smart the DEC people are. I sort of think since myself and my parents have been drinking water from the well for 50 years I'm well dependant, but then I might just be stupid. Ole NOBODY can hardly wait for the next town meeting on the proposed new superstation at the site. Last meeting the town told me they had to depend on advice from the EXPERTS at DEC. I guess them polution police must have public educations.
