Electric forklifts have operated full shifts in warehouses for decades without issues using old school lead-acid batteries and simple pack swap charging stations. Unplug one connector and a latch, roll depleted battery out to charge and roll charged battery in.
With the much newer battery technology I think there should be little issue in providing a pack that can operate sunrise to sunset on an overnight charge and not even need a pack swap. In the odd event you need more runtime I'm sure pack swap can be implemented just fine.
Electric motors provide full torque from zero RPM, so an electric tractor will have a much simplified transmission, no changing gears, greater reliability, less maintenance, etc. I would expect beyond luddite resistance and power infrastructure constraints these should become common quite rapidly. And all those hay barn roofs should be good places for solar PV installation to provide much of the charging power if using a pack-swap setup.
