You could check with the YT Store and see if they have a kit. A shop that rebuilds starter would be another place to check for a stud kit. A heavy duty soldering iron is required as the gap in the threaded end of the stud is where the field coil leads solder into it after it is installed in the housing. You might want to consider just having a shop rebuild it for you. Sometimes you can move the switch housing a bit and get a better contact for a while. Replacing the switch may buy some time as the contact inside it will be new. Like everything the quality of a new one is a crap shoot, I'd go for a Standard or Echlin if replacing it (which you should do anyway if you replace the stud).
