I am having more starting troubles with my snowmobiles than anything ever before! I have a 1974 Arctic Cat Panther 340, and the last time I started it was about a month ago, and it started right up on the second pull. The next day after that, I tried to start it, and i pulled for about 15 minutes, choke on and off, and it didnt even pop. I took out a plug to check the spark, and NO SPARK!! I checked all the connections, and nothing, new plugs, nothing. I thought maybe the coils had moisture, so i took off the coil cover and blew it out, and shook it around and left the cover undone to let it dry overnight. I fastened it back on, and it sparked twice. Then, no spark, i had my Small Engines Class teacher check the coils, and he said they were good. What i think, is it may be the CDI box, 1, because it is the most expensive part of the ignition system to replace, and 2, because it is located in the same location as the coils, and moving it around may have done something. I havent check the ignition switch yet, do you guys think that may be the problem? What do you all think?? Doug
