Looking into buying a 1066 or 1466 for pulling, would run in 10,500 mod farm class. Rpm limit is 3100. Dt466 swap so engine doesn’t matter. How much stronger is a 14? Do they have stronger tranny’s and rear ends? Any specific parts that are bigger that really make a strength difference? Also considering the amount of 1066’s sold, is it easy to find aftermarket parts to beef them up and make them as strong as a 14? Just wondering what the best tractor to go with is. Thanks.
