I was using the wrong tire shop. A friend told me about a tire shop in Sullivan, In where they put a blue/green slime in tries. First pic is a spot the slime left left in my truck bed. He uses it in his bobcat tires and claims you can run over nails, not a problem. Well we will see, my tires are a magnet for nails.
They removed the tube I had installed about a month ago at a different tire shop where they left a valve stem inside, along with dirt, leafs and sticks.
Sullivan tire said they put a lot of the sealer in equipment used in local coal mines, and in farm implements. My friend used to work in one of the mines.
They put 4 patches inside old tire, cleaned up the mess, and filled it with 2+ gallons of sealer for $48. I told them they will have my business. I have two backhoes, a Farmall C and a Jubilee.
I keep you posted if I ever have an issue with the blue/green slime.
I've very happy I didn't have to buy a new tire.
Has anyone else used the blue/green slime which looks thicker than the green slime and it drys when exposed to air?
