I bought this boat last Nov.. The trailer is a rusty Spartan with tires that look new. I was told a trailer alone is worth $200. The engine is a 85hp Force that the previous owner said had a nearly new power head on it. He ran a business that rebuilt outboards and so I do believe that it is true. I got it to start yesterday and it sounded good. My boat is only rated for a 70hp and so I am not going to keep it for my own use. The boat is a Chrysler Charger 118. It is a fiberglass boat about 14 or 15 feet long. The steering cable is rusted solid. So is one of the throttle cables. The power trim motor is shot and it does not have a prop on it. A new prop is $145 and a new trim unit is about $135. The vinyl seats are in bad shape. This is not a fishing boat.
I have seen an ad in the paper for a salvage yard, that is about 4 hours away. What is a fair price for this boat? I need to make some money on it to pay for the rebuild of a 9n money pit. Thank you Steve

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches.
