This farm is only 300 acres with 1000 cows housed all year around, milked 3 times a day. He rents other grass farms in the area for cutting grass silage, 3 and sometimes 4 cuts a year.
So the liquid manure {slurry} is tanked and spread on the other farms fields several times a year.
That size of tanker is the largest weight/capacity that can be handled by 150HP tractors on the steep roads and fields.
On other farms with their land surrounding the buildings, they do pump through flexible pipes and spread slurry with dribble bar - photos later.
In some areas it is illegal to spread slurry directly onto the fields so they use injectors on the back of the tankers.
