I am not smart enough to figure this out or perhaps just do not know the figures to use. Anyway I would like to know the cost to run each of these heaters for a continus hour. Propane is $1.98,4 per gal, electricity is $.123 per killowatt. Electric heater 110 volt. 1300 watt setting, 1500 watt setting. Propane 12,000 btu, 15,000 btu, 10,000 btu and 65,000 btu. I would guess those figures are amount used per but do not know. Also how many btu in a gallon of LP. How many watts in a killowat? The 1,500 watt is how many amp? I know eficiency can be different but that should not affect the cost of running the burner. If I would know the amount of btu per gal I should be able to do the math but when you are missing a key figure it is hard to cacaluate the total, same with the electric is how many watts in a killowat. I know bad spelling.
