What is with the raised ring cast into the stove side of the pan around the perimeter? I just bought and tried using a pair of 12" units. No matter on a gas stove, camp fire or conventional top electric stove. Doesn't worth worth a hoot on a flat top electric stove. Pan doesn't touch the hot surface. Looks like they will have to be chucked in the mill and cut flat.
