After the furnace shuts down, water is still moving thru the system. Which means that the well pump and pressure tank are moving water 24/7. The solenoid valve is in the line exiting the furnace. I googled the valve, and it said that it could also be a control panel problem. If I turn off the electrical power and the water to the furnace, would I be asking for trouble by removing the screws that hold the valve together, so that I can see if it is dirty and needs cleaning? Of course this had to happen on the weekend, but at least it is still giving us heat. Thank you Steve
