Oliver Super 55: Is a front end loader a good idea?

Would like to hear from owners with more experience than me (that shouldn't be hard I have owned a tractor for 4 months). I have an Oliver Super 55 and the opportunity to pick up an Allied loader with a crankshaft pulley pump and a 48' bucket. My Oliver doesn't have power steering other than my upper arms. Is this a good idea? I might have to do some surgery to get it to fit too. The asking price is $750 Canadian, about $500 US. Look forward to hearing from people. By the way anyone with a Super 55 and a loader, could you let me know what type of loader you have and wether you have power steeering or not. Thanks
